Also transliteratedFinished the first big bind up yay Paperback A tragic and special day arrives on the doorsteps of Ichigo and this time around he learns a dark secret that fuels his sense of justice and his desire to be a Soul ReaperI believe the humour in this one was distracting especially when the story was meant to be so emotional While it still remained a powerful story arc it still had a couple of issues in managing the intensityAt least the artwork remains some of the best in the game Yours trulyLashaan Blogger and Book ReviewerOfficial blog Paperback I just love Bleach This manga is amazing I have finally find a manga that can compete against Naruto Ichigo Rukia Chad Sado Orihime Kod Karin Yuzu Jinta Ururu Tessai and Kisuke is just amazing characters and I love Ichigo and his fathers fighting xD Paperback Well think I m done with what seemed like a promising seriesWhat s it about It s the anniversary since the main character s mother died which leads to what could be a very well written emotional volume being mindless nonsenseWhy not 1 star The art is still really good and well done Some could possibly argue that the style is very similar to a lot of other manga stuff but one of the main things that appeals to me about manga is the fantastic art style yes I know that not all manga looks alike I mean most manga in generalConsThe story is so typical It s not necessarily bad but it s just that it s yet another I m a gloomy protagonist who craves vengeance and fights monsters with nothing that makes this one pop out than the shit ton of other similar stories I don t even really mind stories that are similar to others but have something that makes this one at least interestingThe characters are bland Our protagonist is a depressed guy fighting monsters with a generic strong female character His family is a generic family that you d expect from a sitcom The monster is typical The only not so generic character is the teddy bear but he s obnoxious Nothing made me care about these charactersThe dialogue is cheesy It s the most expected cringey shit that gives manga a bad nameThe action scenes are hard to follow in this volume and that s saying something coming from me a guy who typically reads manga with over the top action scenes The problem is that when I can t understand what I m looking at in an action scene something that should be easy to do it s no longer funThis book is very predictableThis book tries to be very funny but isn t There were only a few good jokes I can think of out of the several attempts at humor in this book Maybe it s funnier to a younger audience Most of it just seemed obnoxious to meThis book is pretty nonsensical at times The story and all mostly makes sense but let s look at the writing One page is emotional and really trying to give you to think about as you read the story the next page is an annoying character going full retard No that s anti climactic dumb and only works a few times in a well written story this does it constantly in a story that is not well written Also the art can be this way now and then between the action scenes being messy and stuff like this one page letting you know which chapter starts and the page is entirely Christmas themed despite this book having nothing to do with Christmas and taking place in the middle of JuneThe monster is not at all intimidatingOverallThis book is stupid and I m done with this seriesBook one was pretty damn good and looked promising Book two was very meh Book three is this stupidity that barely avoided a 1 star review I have a copy of book four which I flipped through and it looks like similar goofy shit so yeah looks like there s some room on my comics shelf now hopefully for something better25 Paperback I have tears in my eyes It was emotional and sad story Paperback

We finally get some of Ichigo s backstory and find out the circumstances behind his mother s death Ichigo is also not the only one in his family who is hiding secrets There is an epic battle in a graveyard Paperback A really sad but uplifting look into some of the characters past especially Ichigo s Thoroughly enjoyed this volume Paperback This manga is so good and I m in love with it I love Ichigo he s funny a lot of thing has been happened about the hollows and the rumors has spread out Interesting and it s really good Paperback In this volume of Bleach things took a turn for the dramatic and serious as the story changed tone dramatically This is because three things occurred First off we learned some of Ichigo s back story and that of his family This gave him of a human face so that he is somewhat relatable The second and third changes are that it seemed this volume abandoned the monster of the week formula for a sustained story arc and Ichigo loses a fightWhat I mean to say isn t that Bleach didn t have story arcs before now because it did But they were short and other than some small threads here and there to keep the story going they weren t much related to each other That all changed with this story which as of this volume still isn t really overThe other difference is that things are serious for Ichigo He loses a fight with a Hollow While Rukia tries to argue in text that it was a victory because he survived a Hollow that has been around for many decades and is hugely powerful and experienced and the Hollow didn t eat anyone it still is a loss in general for our Soul Reaper You see Ichigo barely survived while the Hollow was in much better shape than he was So yeah it was the Hollow s win For explanation it was sort of a bit like the scenario common to media where the good guy has to lose to teach him not to be so careless Like on Arrow season one when the Dark Archer kicked Ollie s ass or other scenarios where the hero loses but manages to eke out at least survival or some other partial victoryWhat I liked about this is that the author emerged here from simple safer story telling to something ambitious Time will tell if he stayed good to read or fell victim to overly long arcs with lots of filler Long running series can be really good really bad for dedicated fans or a bit of each at times We shall seeOne thing I appreciated was how the idea of fighting for your honor and so not being interfered with was handled This is somewhat of a Japanese trope but the author actually mocked it to some extent Fighting for your honor is one thing and a personal thing a person choice at that but you don t eschew help from friends and allies and expect to succeed in lifeThe art isn t bad but after seeing the artwork in some other series like Sailor Moon or Fruits Basket or not as good but still nice beauty of Rurouni Kenshin it didn t do a whole lot for me either It was good enough for the story but not exemplary Then again maybe I am using unusually good art to present a standard not possible to reachAll in all I great volume and I look forward to the continuation of this story arc Paperback Okay the mother storyline is really intense And I want to know about what Ichigo really is and the situation with Rukia s powers Paperback.#heading[2].
