But I was pleasantly surprised I definitely recommend reading this It s the third book in the series but from what I understand each one is a standalone and this is the first one I have read Sun Elves of Ardani Elves of Ardani 3 The world building in this fantasy romance was lush and descriptive The plotting was tight and exciting The characterization was nuanced and these protagonists were deeply sympathetic The development of the romantic relationship was an authentic slow to medium burn I highly recommend this novel to readers who enjoy adult fantasy romance with high quality writing craftsmanship. Sun Elves of Ardani paranormal lockdown 75 5 This is the first book I ve read in this series and while it may be a little weird to start a series on book three boy am I glad I did This was a really enjoyable read complete with magic super complicated relationships a friends to enemies to lovers arc and so much While I love the romance Kadaki and Neiryn are just so sweet together The action is what really pulled me in Naturally there is a lot of tension between the Ardanian s and the occupying elvish forces that just continues to spark conflict There are battles involving magic shovels bottles humans and elves deliver the reader yet another engaging and powerful excursion into a persistently well developed world that produces one very enjoyable tale. Sun Elves of ardaniqua There are romance books that I like give good ratings to because I think they re real well done and then there are the very very rare romance books that strike my picky particular shipping nerve and that I find super romantic and sexy This is that Some of the dialogue from Neiryn man swooon I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review Sun Elves of Ardani Elves of Ardani 3 I received a free ARC of this book from the author for my honest review Neiryn and Kadaki are two characters from the first book of this series The Night Elves of Ardani by the same author I recommend reading the first book second was also really good to understand the two main characters original story from 5 years previous Now The Sun Elves of Ardani we find Kadaki living in the fringes of a small town recovering from the loss of love being and self since her she was left by Neiryn She is now just trying to live a simple life quiet and as normal as possible Neiryn is now back in the army ending up with his regiment in a small town finding a long lost and spiteful mage Together they are to work together to explore and new uptick in magic navigate their old friendship forge a new alliance oh and save the town while they are at it I love Neiryn and Kadaki s story I didn t think I would because I didn t like Neiryn as much in the fist story enough to care for his continued adventure However I was presently surprised by how much I love these two together It s a love to hate to love typeface And that s okay because I wanted to make sure these two get a happy forever a third in to this story The author may not have explored the world and characters travel like her other two books However a whole entire new area is opened up with a fantastic monster and boss fight. Book Sun Elves of ardani fikriansyah 5 Stars I received a free copy of Sun Elves of Ardani in exchange for an honest review Posting this a little late due to work so apologies for that Starting off I loved the character of Kadaki I think she s the most relatable female lead we ve seen so far in this series She s brutally honest and oftentimes can t understand social cues leading to her offending people when she doesn t mean to Rather than brush those things aside as negative traits the author makes it clear this is simply who Kadaki is and that is neither an inherently good or bad thing I found her realness quite endearing and loved reading from her perspective The romance is enjoyable The lingering hurt between Kadaki and Neiryn created angst between the two characters that added some juicy tension to their romantic development I think the chemistry could have been pushed to make the romance swoon worthy but overall it delivered This installment in the Elves of Ardani series is of an animosity to lovers second chance love rather than a true enemies to lovers Kadaki and Neiryn already have established history together prior to them meeting in this book and as a result they start off already caring about each other despite their unwillingness to admit it There s resentment and hurt between them rather than the typical dose of hate you get at the start of an enemies to lovers It s nice that it provided a new set up to their relationship than what we ve been getting so far but it s for sure not the seething love hate enemies to lovers like that in the previous books Overall I enjoyed Kadaki and Neiryn s story and recommend you give this and the rest of the books in this series a read I am now very interested in Ysura the home of the Sun Elves and hope we get to see it explored in later books A big thanks to the author for providing me an ARC to review Sun Elves of Ardani Elves of Ardani 3 It was the tamest book in the series so far in every sense It didn t have so much of the back and forth of the previous books nor did it have a big divide between Neiryn and Kadaki somewhere mid book It was a sweet second chance romance with characters who are full of snark and love. Sun Elves of Ardani pdf book What I really adore about this series is the writing though I love how we always get characters who are allowed to be human the elves too you know what I mean with all the good and bad None of the girls are Mary Sues they all have distinct personalities and different perspectives Kadaki was a surprising and really well portrayed introverted geek who I don t often see represented in books Watching her navigate her relationship with Neiryn who is the sweetest and dumbest boyfriend to ever exist was something I could relate to a lot.
